Thailand is safe to travel

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Canada and Australia have issued travel warnings about Thailand due to political unrest. This is normal here and as the Similan Islands are far away from the madness it should not be a problem. The people of the Islands dont mess with politics so much. If you fly into Phuket you will avoid Bangkok, then travel up the coast to get the dive boat. Enjoy your holidays

Diving accident Pattaya

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

an unfortunate accident occured near Pattaya Thailand. A simple diving balloon would have possibly saved the life of this young diver. REMEMBER to use a diving bouy and dive in the zones if there are any.

Sunrise diving tours Thailand Similan Islands

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Imagine a dive at sunrise – wouldnt that be wicked. The colours of the ocean and fish just coming to life around the Similan Islands. Its all possible as you are living aboard the dive boat. Our dive shop is based in Khao Lak and from there is a quick jet speed boat trip to the moored boats. All this is designed to lessen the impact on the corals. Our efforts so far have awarded us with the ECO Award 2009
